If it is an occasional trip, it may be malfunction or environmental impact of the circuit breaker, but if you frequent tripping, you have to pay attention. After all, we can not put our lives on the circuit breaker.
Circuit breaker trip, no less than the following five reasons, combined with the actual situation to judge, you can understand, find, solve the problem. Note: When servicing the circuit, be sure to ensure that the upper circuit breaker is disconnected.
Cause one: overload
Overload protection, is a basic function of the circuit breaker, any circuit breaker, have this feature.
Overload protection, refers to the current in the circuit, exceeds the value of the circuit breaker. For example, the circuit breaker is set at 16A and the actual current in the circuit is 17A, and the circuit breaker is automatically tripped.
This is how the 16A election out of it? This is based on the socket, wire, electrical appliances and other circuit breakers to protect the object can withstand the maximum current decision.
Not attached to the circuit breaker, can be determined to be circuit overload; add the attachment of the circuit breaker, to observe whether the attachment has changed, if the attachment does not change, it is also due to circuit overload.
The reason for the circuit overload is that the total power of the appliance used in the circuit is too large. At this point, as long as the high-power appliances to remove the circuit, or reduce the number of electrical appliances, and then closing can be.
Reason two: short circuit
Broadly speaking, short circuit is an extreme phenomenon of overload.

Cause three: leakage
At this point to talk about the most commonly used circuit breaker accessories - leakage protector. This accessory, with leakage protection function, that is, when the circuit leakage phenomenon occurs, the circuit breaker will automatically trip.
Plus the annex of the circuit breaker, will also have the function of the circuit breaker and accessories it. So, how to judge the circuit breaker is due to overload trip or due to leakage trip it?
At this point depends on the state of the annex. The most common kind of attachment, the attachment has a "reset button", the button next to the text marked. This button, in normal circumstances, with the circuit breaker shell in the same plane, but once the circuit leakage occurs, the button will be highlighted. Cause four: undervoltage

This attachment, generally installed in the voltage instability of the place, is to prevent electrical appliances in low voltage conditions, overload operation, so as not to burn electrical appliances. But with this thing there is a trouble, that is, a power trip on the trip.
In the undervoltage release attachment, there will be a reset button and the same as the leakage protector, when the button protrudes after the trip, then there is no voltage fault in the circuit.

Cause five: overvoltage
In addition to undervoltage release, there is a called "overvoltage release", a more function, that is, when the voltage is too high, the circuit breaker is still tripping.
When the overvoltage release is tripped, the reset button is also present. However, this time can not be seen, because the voltage is too high trip or voltage is too low trip, but can certainly be due to voltage instability.
